Abroad experience for your student

In addition to informing students and the internship companies, we also think it is important that schools are kept informed of our working method. We work together with several schools by, for example, providing (online) information and then arranging a good internship for their students. Curious how that goes? Read more about it below!

In addition to informing students and the internship companies, we also think it is important that schools are kept informed of our working method. We work together with several schools by, for example, providing (online) information and then arranging a good internship for their students. Curious how that goes? Read more about it below!

Procedure

It is our goal to optimize the student’s learning experience. We do this by ensuring that a suitable internship company is found that matches the wishes of the student and the school. View the step-by-step plan that the student goes through below.

1. Intake conversation

During the intake interview, we provide the student with information about our working method and we ask about the student’s wishes and requirements from the school. We use this information further in the process to find a suitable internship. We also give the student feedback on his/her CV so that we can use it in the search.

2. Student installs the JongLeren.es app

After agreement on the search for the internship, our JongLeren.es app comes in handy. We give access to the students so that they can use the app optimally. Here they can follow the progress of the search for their internship so that there is no miscommunication. We also arrange all necessary documents, payments and appointments in the app. In addition, the app serves as the place where all JongLeren.es students come together. Think of the meet-ups and other events that we organize for which they can register via the app!

3. Start search internship

In this phase, our team starts the search for the ideal internship for the student with the information he/she has given us during the intake interview.

4. Arranging accreditation

Yes! We hebben een potentiële match gevonden voor jouw student. Wij zorgen er altijd voor dat we een erkend stagebedrijf vinden, als dit niet het geval is vragen wij de accreditatie aan, dit is onderdeel van onze dienstverlening.

5. Arranging documents

Once the internship company has been arranged, the paperwork is involved. This includes the internship contract/agreement and any Erasmus papers. We help with this where necessary. It is also important that the school and the student sign and send these papers in time.

6. Accommodation (Optional)

When the student has been accepted by the internship company, we can look for accommodation (optional). Depending on the wishes, budget and possibilities, we will organize accommodation nearby the internship location.

7. Internship visit

As soon as the internship has started, we visit the student within the first 2 to 3 weeks to see if he/she is in the right place. If something is wrong, we will look for a solution together. If a lecturer comes to visit his/her student, let them know. Communicate well with the internship company and preferably also with us.

8. Calamities

To ensure that the student is safe and happy in Spain, we are always available to solve things where necessary. Our office in Málaga and we are available by phone 24/7 for emergencies.

Consultation at school

To give students more information about what it is like to do an internship in the South of Spain and how we can help, we regularly provide information at schools and fairs. More information about this?
