A large luxury 5 star hotel in Estepona located along the beach with stunning views of Gibraltar. The hotel has more than a hundred rooms in different price and luxury classes. There are several bars and restaurants, and activities and entertainment are offered throughout the year. The hotel is part of a hotel chain with destinations all over the world. Estepona is located in the lee of Marbella. It is a town with an authentic character and a cozy harbor. This makes it attractive to people who find it important to enjoy in a pleasant, quiet environment. Due to the pleasant climate, there is a good occupancy of the hotel all year round. There are also regularly larger groups such as professional football clubs.
The work
During your front office internship you perform all the activities that go with it and you are the calling card of the hotel. Together with the colleagues you are responsible for checking in, providing general and tourist information, providing service during the stay and checking out of the guests. You will speak to customers and suppliers by telephone and support management with customer service tasks. If you also have to do research during your internship, it is possible to give substance to this. Together with the Front Office Manager, a research assignment will be formulated.
The criteria
You follow an MBO or HBO education in tourism, hospitality management, hotel and event management, front office employee or aviation service provider. You are representative and communicative. You master Spanish at least at A2 level and your English is of a good level and you are flexible, customer-friendly and open to other cultures.
