The company
This internship is located at a coworking place in the center of Málaga, in the SoHo district. A coworking space is a shared workplace where entrepreneurs can rent a place to work. This coworking is much more than just a location, they think it is important that it is a place where you can share with each other, on a business level, but also the fun. Many activities (outside working hours) are organized for the co-workers, such as cooking workshops and parties. There are more than 35 different nationalities that use this workplace, so you will have to deal with different cultures and your language skills will be tested. And not unimportantly, there is a roof terrace with a view over the city!
The work
The team consists of a small and young team where the mutual atmosphere is important, there is a lot of room for humor and conviviality. Because it is a small team, your working day will be very varied. You will mainly work behind the reception and deal with the onboarding of new customers, so that they are well informed about the way of working within the company, what is organized and arranged and what they can use within the location. In addition, you give the new customers a tour to show them around. You will also occasionally work in the office with administrative work. Think of marketing-related tasks and answering emails. In addition, you organize activities that will take place outside of work and you are available to help the customers during the day where necessary. So it’s not a typical 9 to 17 job. Furthermore, there is a lot of room for your own input so it is very much appreciated if you come up with ideas yourself.
The criteria
This internship is suitable for various studies in the direction of management, marketing, business, communication and hospitality. In addition, preference is given to an HBO student with a commercial background. It is important that you are strong in communication, you are expected to speak good English and have a reasonable level of Spanish. In addition, you have a proactive attitude and you are not afraid to take the initiative yourself. In short, a very dynamic educational company.
